Terry the Atlantic Green Sea Turtle is created from thousands of plastic pieces collected from Texas beaches. Every bright piece of debris, once washed ashore as pollution. Now it's transformed into a reminder of the life risk from18 billion pounds of plastic entering the ocean each year and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Each piece of plastic was cleaned, sorted by color and individually attached with one of over 8,000 screws. Terry isn't only art, she's a conversation starter, designed to spark awareness and inspire action wherever she is displayed.
